hey folks!  long time no update!

how y'all been??

sorry no new arts to show,  all my drawings and paintings I do at work now, and can't show..    le frown!  I wish i had a lil somethin somethin to post up..  I think I saw a tumbleweed roll thru here the other day!

Work is going pretty good,  I switched positions from animator to concept artist which was awesome!!  Painting in photochop all day,  I never knew work could be so relaxing~   not to mention the creatures i am CONCEPT ARTING are griffins, sasquatch, dragons, etc.   COOL SHIT!

I have been trying for the past month to write another song, (have written only 3 so far) but its real difficult.   I basically have a bunch of cool riffs recorded that I like,  but cant QUITE figure out the arrangement!  need to really just work it until it works,  yanno?  heh
but all the lil parts are pretty rockin'  I hope it turns out.

Another reason for no arts >>> my screen is all fucked up!  check this, I recently got a new HD monitor, and instead of getting rid of my other monitor,  I really wanted to try this DUAL MONITOR thing out,  and it was really awesome!  UNTIL i tried to watch an HD video, and then WHOA!  BLUE ARTIFACTS EVERYWHERE!!   it was really annoying, until I figured out to just TURN OFF the other one, and then it worked fine for watching.
Step 2 - I get windows 7!  nice and sleek,  shit looks nice!  but now forget HD vids,  now there are artifacts ALL THE TIME!  even when one monitor is off..   WHAT THE FECK YO!   I try to paint and my photoshop screen lags and sags and sucks.  its capitol-B Bogus!
what do you think DA?  maybe a graphics card prob?  driver prob?  hmmmm

On a far more serious note,  I heard this morning of the death of former WWE wrestler Eddie UMAGA Fatu..
Umaga was a highlight on RAW for me for 2 years, where he really re-invented the BIG MAN MONSTER HEEL and showed what he was capable of.  He was a huge 300 pount Samoan that somehow could fly half way across the ring with shocking grace!   In todays WWE there is not much to like in the ring,  but Umaga was most definately something to like and someone to watch!!   When he was released this past summer i was pretty pissed,  but kind of felt deep down that I knew he would be back. It certainly wasn't his first firing or suspension! He was just too talented to ignore!  The Samoan Bulldozer was, for me, one of the best in the business today..
But he will not be back,  his career cut short,  much much too short.

I can't help but think on this past year, on all the famous stars we've lost.  Umaga certainly won't be listed amoung FAMOUS STARS,  but I remember feeling really un-affected when Michael Jackson or Patrick Swazye passed.  No dissrespect to them, they just were not heroes of mine.  I am much more saddened by the loss of Umaga, because he has entertained me far more. Makes sense if you think of it that way..     what a shame
