I am wacom-less, so I have to do a lot of detail/touch up work and colouring with the mouse. Sketched stuff is still done on paper though.
(Heh, hehehe... I said 'touch-up')

Anyways, I often think about all this stuff. I know I've improved; but not as much as I'd hoped at this stage, which is why I need to get off my fat arse and draw more then I have been over the past few months
:shakefist:

And now I'm rambling like the over zombified ill twit that I am :iconwalleyedplz:

Shoot I still use pen and paper man.

The only thing I do digitally is write. There's some level of disconnect between me and digital devices that I've never been able to overcome.

I had a somewhat similar experience with Photoshop. Back in high school, during my animation program, and having no idea what the hell to do with Photoshop 7. Then I used it, and used it, and now, almost 7 years after graduating, I can't think of my own artistic journey without Photoshop. Although I still draft on paper - mostly because my unsteady hands make digital drawings look like dick, but I use my Wacom extensively for coloring. :D

I'm still the knucklehead for paper...It's a lot easier to find a napkin and a pen over wifi, a computer, plug outlet/charged battery pack, and then carry the stuff around. Not making a contest or disputing the better qualities of digital, but i guess i've always been a stick and sand kinda guy...

I can only relate to half of the story but this seems like a fun remembrance. Hopefully in a few years I'll be able to look back at something like this and enjoy it to the last drop.

thx Vashp
