always wanted to draw her, she's pretty rockin'~ I, much like many other little boys, shot my way thru space tunnels, rolling and running and killing a brain, only to find out that the toughass space man i wished i was was actually a GIRL! haha, at that age it was hard to accept, but since it has become the very thing that made metroid revolutionary!
After all these years, Super Metroid is still one of the best games of all times!
Love the lighting as per usual, but her right boob from viewers POV is a different size then the other because of shading.. and her helmet seems like it should be slightly bigger because of the camera/ angle you drew her at.
I love the gold lighting and the glowy green detailing that makes it have a really animated look to it. i also like how you focus things in your latest works.
This is my first critique Ive written on DA and I dont like that it has to be a certain length. Wanna hang out sometime soonsies? Pretty pwease? i work mon (night), thur, fri (morning)
This is a really beautiful piece. There are some technical flaws about the suit design but that is really, really minor stuff that no one cares about. As for originality there really isn’t a lot to talk about, it is a tried and true scene that has been depicted at the end of many a Metroid game, but it is still a scene that is somehow interesting enough to deserve more depictions of it. The ship in the background is actually what takes this picture above and beyond the usual pictures of Samus without her suit. What I mean with the ship is the amount of details that has been added to it, it is really nice to see a picture where even the background has received this kind of attention, as for Samus herself she is wonderfully drawn and there is a real attention to the small details in all things about her. From the green light... things, on her hands and things, to the green lights on her round shoulder pads, to her blue eyes you really manage to catch all the details about her character.
As I said the piece isn’t all that original, but apart from that I really don’t have any other complaints, so I thank you for a great piece of Metroid FanArt.
