A History of Venom

Description

Lately ive been re-reading all of my comics featuring Venom
(earlist being Amazing Spider-Man #317)
and there's so many diffrent styles and looks he's gone through..
i leanred to draw by reading comics,
so all of vemons most popular looks are burned in my memory..
Mark Bagley, Ron Lim, ToddyMac, Eric Larsen, Humberto Ramos
thay've all had such great interpretaions and helped mold the character.
MacFarlane was the first, he's controversialy credited as "co-creator" of venom.
Larsen gave us the toungue and green gooo~~ (thank you)
Bagley gave him the lips, and Lim went opposite, with teeth portruding right from his face..
Bagley's was thinner, Lim's was Hulking!!
Lim also gave those wonderful 'splatter-paint' eyes, that added SUCH a wicked look.
and i loved Ramos's drawings of the Symbiote in the Hunger storyline.

The only one i tried to be myself and be creative with was the bottom right.
starts to lose the human quality, and reinforces the suit as an alien being.

i was in the third grade when i read Amazing Spiderman #374
where Venom attacked Richard and Mary Parker (peter's real paernts)
and then it was a friggin' SLUGGFEST between Spidey and V-man.
and i think it was that comic book that made me such a huge venom fan.
(the Maximum Carnage arc was equally as integral)

To this day, he's still my favorite Villian in comics.
i'm sure alot of people agree with me.

Was there ever a time where "Venom" is a good guy, like "Toxin"?
- Because both Peter Parker and Johnny Storm wore the symbiote "Venom".
